Qualified Lifeguards

Qualifications

• At least 16yrs of age
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid
• Willingness to be trained in these areas if not certified

Available Hours

• Morning, afternoon and evening shifts

Responsibilities

• Guards pool, protects participants, practice preventative lifeguarding and use of emergency procedures
• Attends in-service training on a regular basis
• Positive attitude
• Team player
• Is rescue ready at start of shift

Starting Wage

• $10.75

*** Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
